SEO Agent 1 Backup Runtime

A private backup and recovery tool operated by Mathieu Mariole for his SEO measurement system. It runs locally on the owner's Mac Studio and is not a public account-registration service.

What the app does

The app packages a local measurement journal and saved source captures, encrypts the archive locally, and—when the owner has authorized a backup—stores only encrypted archive content in a designated private Google Drive folder. It checks the destination's owner, sharing permissions and parent folders. It downloads the encrypted archive and compares its size and SHA256 hash to verify the remote copy.

The journal and captures may contain business and website identifiers, search-performance measurements, page URLs, search queries, collection periods, coverage and publication status. The initial recovery package also included selected recovery code and configuration without credentials.

Google access

The app requests only drive.file. Google Picker lets the owner explicitly authorize the backup folder and the parent folders needed for sharing checks. The scope can allow changes to app-authorized files and folders, but the backup implementation uses account and metadata reads, permission checks, new encrypted-file uploads and download verification. It does not change sharing, overwrite existing backups or automatically delete them.

Current availability

An initial owner-approved encrypted backup and separate-device restore test have completed. Automated runtime backups and Agent 1 deployment remain disabled pending separate approval. Publishing this information site does not activate backups or jobs.

Backups require the owner's separately held recovery key. Encryption and matching hashes do not replace an actual restore test. The tool holds publication when required remote backup verification fails.
